These pants will live longer than I will. They are thick enough to wear on barberry-hacking duty, hardcore rosebush pruning, and other brush cutting adventures. I like low-rise jeans, but not when I am bent over ripping out invasive plants (Note: carpenter’s crack isn’t hot for either gender). These keep you covered but are still clearly cut for women. They also stand up to paint, paint thinner, gasoline, diesel, and all other manner of nasty. The extra layer in front makes for serious stiffness, though, so I wouldn’t aim for any feats of agility (forget about trying the pommel horse), and of course they are warmer than regular Carhartts- especially in August. I love these work pants and practically live in them from March to November. Interestingly, some people practically swoon at the sight of a lady in a tank top and double fronts. . . Who knew you could “work it” while you work?
