I started to wear cargo pants full time about two years ago. My choice then was Dockers they came in only a few colors and were soon discontinued. My search then began for a replacement I have tried quite a few Dockers, Dickeys, Wangler, and now Carhartt. My choice is Wangler hero @ $16 a pair they blow away these dickey clones. The Carhartt is well thought out except for the leg pockets ride half way in-front of your leg and I hate the hammer holder aka tear off all drawer knobs in you house. I also would choose to wear my Wrangers to work over these and I also like the fabric better. These pants remind me of the Dickeys carpenter pants but lighter material. The other advantage of Wranglers is they are at any Walmart where these Carhartts are hard to find.

I bought these for my adult son and they were too small for him so I tried them on. I was surprised that they fit me and will keep them for myself and get him another pair in his correct size. They look sharp too.

I own two pairs of these in different colors and they are among my favorite pants ever. They look good and you can wear them around town, not just for work or outdoors. At least on me, the fit is great, better than all other cargo pants I have owned or tried. Not too baggy or too tight, just right. The cargo pockets are also just the right size and open and close easily and securely (most other brands fall short here in comparison). There is also a nifty pocket on the right leg for a cell phone or something of similar size. Fabric is thick and sturdy. Highly recommended!
